Spring and Fall Steelhead Fishing
Rainbow and Bull Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Cut Throat provide a great summer fly fishing experience. Steelhead are Rainbow trout that migrate 800+ miles from the Pacific Ocean to spawn in the clear waters of the Salmon River and its tributaries.

Fly Fishing the Salmon River

Rainbow and Bull Trout, Small Mouth Bass and Cut Throat provide a great summer fly fishing experience. Fly fish the emerald waters and the side streams of this wild and scenic river.

Fly Fishing for Steelhead


$200.00 per person, per day, with a minimum of 5 people (or minimum boat rate of $1000.00 if less than 5 people).
The Fishing Expedition begins and ends at the Vinegar Creek boat ramp.

Please let us know if you should need fishing gear for bait fishing.

Spring/Summer Fishing
$180.00 per person, per day (Includes dinner & breakfast).
October – November:
$540.00/per person (Includes: two nights lodging, two dinners, two breakfasts, one lunch on the second day)

Fishing without lodging:
A $50% deposit per day is required to confirm your trip date. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the trip will forfeit deposit. On trips paid in full, we will refund the payment less the advanced deposit.
If we have to cancel for any reason, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Cancellation fees for overnight accommodations will vary depending on lodges.

3% of the company’s adjusted gross revenues are for a Land Use Fee for operating commercially on National Forest Lands. The Forest Service Recreation Enhancement Fee of $4 per person/day will be added if applicable and collected on behalf of the Nez Perce Forest Service.

Whitewater Expeditions is member of the Idaho Outfitter and Guides Association. We are licensed and bonded and work under Special Use Permits granted by the Bureau of Land Management, Cottonwood and the Nez Perce National Forest.
